Natural Gas Engine for Truck and Bus
Following six years of reliable performance, with over 5,000 engines currently in service worldwide, the C Gas Plus engine is being replaced by the ISL G. Certified to U.S. EPA 2010 & CARB emissions levels and available in ratings from 250 to 320 hp, the ISL G combines Cummins proven Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) technology with a Three-Way Catalyst (TWC) to offer improved efficiency and lower costs. The C Gas Plus 250 hp rating is available in North America to the end of 2007. For Euro-certified markets, the C Gas Plus certified to Euro IV is available. Customers with the C Gas Plus engine will continue to be supported by the Cummins distributor and service network. Building on the rugged, reliable design of Cummins diesel engines, the Cummins Westport C Gas Plus engine is a six-cylinder Lean-Burn Spark-Ignited natural gas vehicle engine that delivers from 250 to 280 hp with ultra-low emissions.
