With the 2007 release of the ISL G engine, the L Gas Plus will no longer be available for new installations. Customers with the L Gas Plus will continue to be supported by the Cummins distributor and service network. Cummins Westport L Gas Plus combines the advantages of clean-burning natural gas engines with more than enough power and torque for heavy duty refuse trucks, dump and medium-duty trucks, transit applications and articulated buses. In addition, the L Gas Plus has a variable geometry turbocharger that provides impressive low-end torque and transient response.
